Tyler grew up as a kid attending Calvary Chapel La Mirada with his parents, Richard and Toni, and three siblings Jenni, Jessica, and Scott.  In September of 2005, Richard and the whole family were sent out to plant a Church in Monrovia, California, Calvary Chapel Monrovia.  

Tyler continued to grow in the ministry serving along side his father Richard in the various ministry needs of Calvary Chapel Monrovia.  After graduating High School he spent a year at Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma as a student, not knowing exactly what the Lord had planned for his future, but always sensed a draw and calling towards ministry.

In pursuit of his calling to ministry he moved back to Southern California to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta for a year.  During his time in Bible College he would commute back to Monrovia on the weekends to lead worship at CC Monrovia.

Tyler then went on to spend a couple years assisting in a Calvary Church plant near Dallas Texas.  Following Texas, he also spent about one year in Hawaii as a Worship Pastor for a Calvary Chapel.  After getting engaged, him and his future wife Justine decided they wanted to settle down in Southern California near both of their families and begin to pursue the calling that God had on their lives together.  They were married in 2012 and both continued to serve at Calvary Chapel Monrovia.

After years of asissting his father and leading various ministries at the church such as worship youth, young adults, media, and other areas, Tyler began to sense the calling to plant a church and begin shepherding as a Senior Pastor.

After a couple years of prayer and waiting for the Lord's timing, God opened up the doors for Tyler and his wife Justine to step into their current position here at Calvary Chapel La Mirada in January of 2016.  Pastor Tyler Currently is co-pastoring with Pastor Bryan Parish during this transitional period of what is estimated to be a couple years.  Pastor Tyler will then fulfill the role of Senior Pastor here at Calvary Chapel La Mirada.

Pastor Tyler has a passion for teaching the Word of God and seeing it transform peoples lives!  He also has a strong desire to reach the next generation and see revival sweep across the world.

Pastor Tyler and his wife Justine currently live in Monrovia with the desire and goal to relocate closer to La Mirada to better serve the church and surrounding community.
