Josh has been attending Calvary Chapel La Mirada since 2006. He has been involved with leading worship since 2007 starting in the children ministry and has been part of the Calvary Chapel La Mirada worship team since 2010. That same year, he began leading worship for the High School Ministry forming a youth band called Before The Throne.  A few months later they began leading worship together in the main sanctuary for the whole church.  In 2012, he attended School of Worship at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa which is where he felt the calling God placed in his life to be a worship leader. At the beginning of 2015, he became the worship pastor at Calvary Chapel La Mirada.  His goal is to use music being aided by the Spirit to encourage the congregation to engage in singing praises to Christ.

In March of 2016, Josh married his wife, Courtney, whom he met here at Calvary La Mirada.
