Children's Ministry Teachers Conference - May 26, 2007

Please plan on attending our all day teacher's conference. 8:30 AM-2:30 PM.

Our theme is "Hold Fast That Good Thing" 2 Timothy 1:13-14.

Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love, which are in Christ Jesus. That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.

The tentative schedule for the day is:

8:30-9:00	Registration and Continental Breakfast
9:00-9:30	Welcome and Worship
9:30-10:45	Guest Speaker, Kelli Espiritu
10:45-11:00	Break
11:00-11:45	Safety Workshop
11:45-12:30	Lunch
12:30-1:15	Workshop, Orientation for new teachers, or Nursery Toddler Class
1:25-2:10	Workshop
2:15-2:30	Final Word of encouragement.

We are blessed to welcome our special speaker, Kelli Espiritu, Children?s Ministry Director/Calvary Chapel Westbrook.  Kelli has been serving at Calvary Chapel Westbrook in Bakersfield for 16 years.  The Lord has gifted her to be a motivated leader within Children?s Ministry, actively training Directors, Sunday School Teachers and Worship Leaders.  Kelli has taught workshops at local, regional, and national events.  Kelli and her husband Ernie have three children and reside in Bakersfield, California. 
Kellie will be sharing how good teachers can become great teachers.

One of the sessions will be on safety.  We will also be doing fingerprinting through out the entire conference.  Everyone is required to attend and complete the background information and fingerprinting.  Your fingerprinting time will be given to you at registration that morning.  If you are not able to attend or need to leave early you must contact Antoinette at the church office before May 21^st to reschedule your time.

Lunch will be provided and there is no cost for this event.  Please pray for this conference and all those who will be attending.  Come and encourage as well as be encouraged.  I believe you will be blessed!  Invite others who are interested in serving in the Children's Ministry.   We will also have guests from Buena Park, Monrovia, Pico Rivera, and Compton joining us.
